A supportive space to explore emotions, challenges, and personal growth.

Adults

Adult counseling offers a collaborative and compassionate environment for individuals seeking support with life stressors, emotional concerns, relationships, transitions, or personal development. Together, we work to build insight, resilience, and effective coping strategies that support meaningful change and well-being.

I love working with adults to help to challenge one’s status quo and realize that healing can always occur regardless of one’s age. I work with adults regarding grief, relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility/pregnancy loss, parenting, and military life. My hopes and goals in working with adults is that one can recognize their strengths and learn that it doesn’t have to stay “this or that way” because it has always been “this or that way”. Your life can absolutely be different and you have the power already within you.

My style of counseling is typically non-directive, but I will certainly challenge clients when necessary while highlighting your own abilities. I want you to see and know how capable you are because we often forget that during challenging times. One client described my style as,

“a collaborative dance that you don’t have to worry about stumbling because no one is really leading you, they are just guiding your footsteps and there is trust that you aren’t going to fall” (with permission)

I was blown away by this description as it perfectly described how I wish to be in a counselor/client relationship. I do not strive to be a leader or expert of your life, but a partner in your journey. You are the expert of your life and we can work together to find what healing looks like for you.
