Licensed Professional Counselor & Registered Play Therapist

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Applied Learning and Development and Master’s Degree from the University of North Texas in Community Counseling. I am currently licensed in TX, WA, and CO have been fully licensed since 2014. My experience includes working with a wide range of populations in many different types of environments.

I am currently operating out of my private practice, Insightful Play and Counseling in Frisco, Texas where I work with with children, tweens, teens, and adults. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in as a mental health professional in community agencies, schools, and on military installations. My time on military installations was spent as a Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) in which I worked specifically with service members and their families in varying capacities on Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA and Fort Carson/Peterson AFB, CO.

Regardless of age, I typically operate from the client-centered perspective in which I believe that the client is the expert of their lives and already has the abilities within themselves to overcome the most challenging times. I strive to help my clients unlock insight, understanding, and see their worth while we work together to answer some of those “why” questions that we often ask ourselves, about our experiences/responses, or about others.
